SELF-REGULATING HEATER CABLE

TSL low temperature self-limiting heater cable regulates its heat output throughout the entire length of the cable in response to ambient temperature changes. The self-regulating core increases its heat output and the ambient temperature falls; and decreases its output when the ambient temperature rises.

TSL self-regulating heater cables are constructed of industrial grade materials and are approved for use in Class 1 Division 2 hazardous environments and certain corrosive industrial environments. TSL self-regulating heater cables can maintain temperatures up to 150F and have an intermittent exposure temperature of 185F when energized. The optional TPE overjacket offers corrosion resistance against certain inorganic chemicals, and the fluoropolymer overjacket protects the cable from abrasion and impact damage while offering resistance to organic chemicals.

TSL self-regulating heater cables can be cut to length in the field with standard electrical tools and will not overheat or burnout when overlapped.

TSL self-regulating heating cables provide freeze protection and process temperature maintenace for fluid transport and storage systems.
