FEP F-LT constant wattage heater cables are parallel-resistance electric heaters that provide constant power output along the entire length of cable. FEP F-LT heater cable is constructed of 14 AWG bright copper buss wires which allow for long circuit lengths. FEP F-LT heater cables offer excellent resistance to many industrial chemicals, water and ultraviolet rays in addition to superior protection from impact and abrasion. The cables can be cut to length in the field using standard electrical tools. The metallic braid provides grounding protection in hazardous areas. An optional fluoropolymer overjacket protects the braid against corrosive chemicals. FEP F-LT heater cables have a maximum exposure temperature of 400°F when de-energized and a minimum exposure temperature of -400°F. The maximum mainteance temperatureis 100°F. |
